Valerie & CJ’s anniversary session at Covered Bridge Farm (check out their website here) is what photographer dreams are made of. These two are such a sweet couple and I’m always honored when a fellow photographer trusts me with their special memories. Valerie is an up and coming Indiana wedding photographer whose journey is definitely worth following. Her work is absolutely gorgeous and she’s seriously the sweetest. I first met Valerie when she reached out to me about possibly second shooting weddings for me. Since then we’ve been able to hang out over coffee, do a styled shoot together and, most recently, I got to shoot this anniversary session. Valerie was the one who actually found this cute wedding venue. After she asked me about shooting their 3 year anniversary session for them, she was location scouting for the session and stumbled on this gorgeous new wedding venue run by the St. Joseph County Parks & Recreation Department (queue all the Parks & Recs jokes!).
This whole venue is tucked away in the countryside near Three Rivers and offers a really gorgeous, secluded location for a country wedding. The barn here is absolutely adorable and there’s also a pavilion located on the property for additional space. Or, if you prefer, there’s plenty of room to add a tent. It’s also on the water! Score! Set up some lawn games, let guests mingle on the waterfront, whatever you choose to do, it will be gorgeous. You absolutely won’t run out of room for your guests here.
