Hey there! I'm Amanda "Mandie" Forbes, a Traverse City wedding photographer and videographer. I'm a hopeless romantic, an old soul, and a 3rd culture kid who's been obsessed with photography since I was about 7 years old. I currently live in gorgeous Northern Michigan with my 2 year old baby girl, Charlotte Eloise (Charlie for short!).

I absolutely love Northern Michigan, but I also love to travel (I've been traveling and living abroad since I was 5 years old! I've lived in 4 different countries and traveled to 10+ and have plans to add many, many more. It's in my blood!). Even though I love to travel, I'm also a total homebody. I love Mexican food, movies, and spending time with Charlie girl and our two golden retrievers, Sophie and Willow, be it cuddles and belly-scratches on the couch or puppy fun at the lake.

I'm a wedding photographer and videographer because I absolutely love, love stories and I believe that every couple has a story that's unique and worth preserving for years and generations to come. No matter how precious or spectacular a moment is, memories fade. For me, getting to step in and say "Not this one, this one stays." is what it's all about!
