This is a time to have fun, get rid of nerves, get you both comfortable in front of the camera, and start capturing the joy of this new season of your life together! After your engagement session you’ll be featured on my Blog and will also be sent your online gallery of images to download and share however you wish.

Once we’re 8 weeks out from your big day, I’ll start making sure that I'm completely prepared and ready for your wedding! I love creating custom timelines for my couples to ensure that you don’t miss out on your dream wedding photos! You know all of those dreamy portraits, fun friend shots, and detail images that look like they are straight out of a magazine??? I work with my couples to plan their day so that they can actually have images like that of their OWN!

It’s here! It’s time to celebrate, relax and let me get to work! I believe in telling the full story of my couples' wedding days and so I never shoot less than 8 hours. This day is going to be a blur to you and so I make it a priority to capture the traditional shots that every bride needs while also capturing the moments in between so you can remember your day like it was yesterday, forever!

Gallery + Album Design
The Process
After your wedding day is over, you will receive an online gallery full of all of your wedding memories within 6 weeks! HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of them! I encourage my couples to sit down with a glass of wine the night that their gallery goes live and enjoy reliving their wedding day through their images! Soon after your gallery is delivered, you will receive your album design (if you ordered an album!) and you can begin the customization process!

The Process
After your wedding day is over, you will receive a gorgeous, online video gallery! This gallery allows you to store your videos online for safe-keeping and download all of your High Definition videos. You'll also be able to share your entire collection with anyone you'd like with just a click of a button. I encourage my couples to sit down with a glass of wine the night that their collection goes live and enjoy reliving their wedding day through their video!

To all of my gorgeous brides, I believe in love! And I believe in a hopelessly romantic kind of love that focuses on the little moments along with the big, grand ones. I believe that you find love in the little looks, a squeeze of a hand, a touch on the small of your back. It's in dressing up together to celebrate a big moment or in curling up on the couch together in your pajamas, a bowl of popcorn, and having a movie marathon or watching your favorite TV show for the 10th time. Because the thing is, that life isn't made up of just the big moments. All the little things are the big things. And the truth is, I believe there are no ordinary moments. Only millions of tiny un-ordinary ones that make up a whole life together.
Your wedding day is no different. It's one gorgeous, epic, wonderful day, but it's also a day made up of hundreds of tiny moments. As a former bride and someone who shoots 25+ weddings a year, wedding days go by in a blur. It's here, and then it's gone, but my job as your Traverse City Photographer and Videographer is to step in and to say "Not this moment, this moment stays." and to preserve it for you, your families, your children, your grandchildren and your great-grandchildren to cherish, forever. Your memories are priceless and you deserve to pass down your legacy of love for generations to come!

The Process: Mandie absolutely blew me away every step of the entire process. First, she takes time to get to know your story...She literally thinks of EVERYTHING and is so knowledgeable. She was also so flexible in accommodating any changes we made due to the craziness of 2020.
The Day Of: Mandie is the person you want with you on your big day. From her many years of experience, she knows exactly what looks good and how to get those perfect shots. She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. You can tell she truly loves what she does - being a witness to and capturing your love. She’s also the sweetest person ever.
The Proof: I knew our photos would turn out absolutely breathtaking, as Mandie had given us a sneak peak of our pics and video less than 2 days after the wedding. The pictures were exactly what I had wanted - they had that bright, airy, etherial feel that I’d so hoped for. But you guys, the highlight video, OMG!! If you are debating whether or not to do videography too, find something else to cut from your budget because this video will be the best thing from your wedding. Mandie has a true gift in capturing the most perfect moments from your wedding day and artistically composing them in a way that not only captures the day, but your entire love story (which she knows all about because she took the time to get to know you in the beginning). Our wedding video is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and we will cherish it, and our amazing pictures, forever.

When I first stumbled upon Mandie I honestly thought she was too good to be true. I am a very skeptical and picky person when it comes to picking a photographer, which I think is something that comes with the territory of also being a photographer. There are so many horror stories out there and she just seemed too perfect to be real; until I talked with her, began receiving her emails, and finally met her. She is amazing in every way and so very creative and talented! I knew that I loved the work I had seen from her, and by the time our session approached I was very confident that we were in good hands. She is so sweet, fun, and won’t make fun of you no matter how dorky you are! I highly recommend her, there isn’t a single image from our gallery I don’t like; I can’t wait to get home and download them all! I had a few photographers I was bouncing around in my head for capturing our elopement wedding in the future but Mandie is definitely in my top tier of photographers when the time comes to hire ours! The second I found your website and inquired with you, I crumpled up my spread sheets and tossed them (literally).Your communication was so good and you truly care to get to know your clients so that you can capture their vision.. Amanda was amazing and her work was incredible! We had to make some changes on our wedding day due to the weather so when Amanda arrived (early) she realized our plans had changed so got set up so quickly and jumped right in and still got video of us getting ready! She so easily adapted to the changes of our day and was the kindest person to be around! She got our sneak peek video out so fast (we were still on our honeymoon!) and the highlight shortly thereafter and it is my favorite keepsake from that day. She got everything on video that I wanted and so many of our guests had no idea that we even had a videographer present until we shared the sneak peek because she stayed in the background! Her work was incredible, her personality made everyone comfortable and I would highly recommend her!
