Arianna & Chris’ Mackinac Wedding
Arianna and Chris’ Mackinac Wedding in St. Ignace was the thing that a photographer’s dreams are made of. These two are one of the sweetest couples that you could ever hope to meet and they put so much love and care into making sure that their wedding was a reflection of who they are as individuals and a couple, and I think they pulled it off perfectly.
From the first time that I met Arianna and Chris for their engagement session on Belle Isle, I knew that we’d get along great. These two are so very sweet together, and my first impression of them was that they’re the kind of people who are a little reserved/shy at first but would be so much fun once they got comfortable with someone. They actually remind me a lot of my husband and myself, so I instantly loved them as a couple.

The similarities don’t end there, it turns out that Arianna is a huge Friends fan just like myself! I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve seen every episode of the show at least 10 times. The very first episode that I ever watched when I was 17 years old was “The One With All The Resolutions” where Ross gets stuck in his leather pants. I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve rewatched the entire show at least once a year since then. So when I got to the wedding and found out that Arianna had planned a Friends Themed wedding, I got a little (okay, a LOT) bit excited.
With so many similarities, it’s no wonder that we got along so well. One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to know my couples. Feeling like we’re friends on your wedding day helps make you more comfortable, makes the day stress free, and helps me give you an amazing wedding experience! And an amazing experience is one of my top goals for every one of my weddings. That and gorgeous images!

This wedding was so seriously stunning, that gorgeous images were not hard. Arianna put so much work into every loving detail of her decorations. I was just blown away when I saw how everything came together. From her dress to her breathtaking florals to Chris’ lobster lapel to all of the reception and Friends Themed wedding decor, everything was perfect! But as perfect as every detail was, Arianna outshone them all. She was an absolutely stunning bride. (Chris didn’t look too bad himself, either. lol). Arianna and Chris, thank you both so much for allowing me the privilege of sharing your wedding day with you. I’m so honored to have captured this special day and to have met you both. As beautiful as your wedding day was, I know that the rest, what comes next will be even more beautiful. The two of you are truly a match made in the heavens, and I’m sure can only imagine the wonderful things the Universe has in store for you both! Their wedding ceremony on the waterfront was absolutely perfect.
After their ceremony, we drove to a gorgeous little beach on M-2 to take some couples portraits of just the two of them.
After couples portraits, it was party time!
And, to finish off the night there was a gorgeous fireworks display over the bay. St. Ignace has weekly fireworks show every Saturday of the Summer. It’s the perfect end to any wedding!
