Stacie and Michael’s West Bay Beach Resort wedding this August was so much fun to be a part of. I first met Stacie and Mike when I did their engagement photos earlier this year, and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since.
This West Bay Beach Resort Wedding was so beautiful in spite of the rainy weather.
Even though it rained for a good chunk of Michael and Stacie’s wedding day, their West Bay Beach Resort Wedding was just gorgeous. We started off the day getting ready with Stacie and her bridesmaids. One of my favorite parts of the beginning of their day was Stacie and Mike’s two little girls. They were just the absolute sweetest and all smiles and giggles while the girls were all getting ready. There’s nothing like a sweet baby smile and laugh to give you a touch of baby fever.
Stacie was absolutely stunning in her classic gown that she chose for her wedding day. Her jewelry was simple and oh so classically elegant. She was the picture of grace and charm. It’s no wonder that when Michael finally saw her walking down the aisle to meet him, he couldn’t help but exclaim, “Oh my god!” . As soon as I heard his reaction, I immediately turned around to snap a picture of his reaction upon seeing the love of his life walking towards him on his wedding day. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything sweeter.
Their wedding ceremony was also brightened by some special entertainment from their older daughter. She walked the aisles during their ceremony keeping family and guests alike entertained with her antics. I’m always entertained by little kids at weddings, and she definitely didn’t disappoint. From her antics during the ceremony to her impromptu little speech after the toasts, she may have stolen the show just a little bit. So much cuteness and charm.
The wedding reception may have been the highlight of their day.
One of my favorite parts of Michael and Stacie’s West Bay Beach Resort wedding day was delicious their reception. Michael and Stacie’s first dance as husband and wife was oh so sweet, and it was followed by one of the best Mother/Son dances that I’ve ever seen. Michael and his mom owned the dance floor and just had a blast sharing that special dance together on his big day. Their dance was followed by Stacie’s oh so sweet Father/Daughter dance with her dad. They had just as much fun and left everyone smiling ear to ear over how sweet they are together.
After the special dances were complete, it was time to get the party started, and boy did their guests bring the party. We finished off the night in the photo booth with Stacie and Mike to get a couple fun photos before heading out for the night. So many fun moments from their entire day, and one of the sweetest weddings and couples that I’ve had the privilege of preserving.
Thank you so much, Stacie and Michael for allowing me to be a part of your big day!
