The weekend of Gabrielle & Trenton’s rainy Traverse City wedding was an interesting one for pretty much every wedding vendor and couple who had a wedding scheduled here in Northern Michigan. The forecast leading up to Saturday was not great. It was calling for rain from basically 9 am until sometime on Sunday. Exactly what every bride hopes won’t happen on their wedding day.

So heading into their wedding I was looking for ways to get Gabrielle & Trenton some amazing wedding pictures in spite of the weather. Gabrielle made my job ridiculously easy though with all of the gorgeous details that she put together for her wedding day!

First of all, shout out to Mother of the Bride, Gabrielle’s mom. She did all of Gabby’s flowers herself! Like how stunning are these florals!? Time to open up shop I say!

Gabrielle & Trenton also shared the sweetest first look on a quiet porch and, after their first look, they shared private vows while the rain poured all around them.

But the best part of all was when right before their ceremony the rain stopped! It held off for the rest of the day while we celebrated their wedding on their very own farm that they purchased earlier this year.
