A lot of things come to mind when you think of Mackinac Island. Sunshine, water, fudge, horse-drawn carriage rides, ferry boats the Mackinac Bridge. It’s the epitome of summer and carefree days in what feels like another world. It really is such a special place. So it makes sense why there really is nothing quite like a Mackinac Island wedding. Every wedding on Mackinac is a little extra special, but Jenna & Ian’s gorgeous Michigan Island wedding was one for the books! One of the first things you notice about Jenna and Ian is that they’re a beautiful couple, but after spending even a small amount of time with them you immediately realize that they’re even more beautiful human beings. Both Jenna and Ian are the absolute sweetest humans, and they’re absolutely obsessed with each other. Seeing the way these two care about each other and their friends and family was so, so special!
Both Jenna and Ian wanted their Michigan Island wedding to be fun, memorable, and an overall amazing experience for their closest friends and family. From the moment they first saw each other to the end of the night, the entire day was full of laughter and happy tears and so much joy and emotion.
One of my favorite parts of Mackinac Island weddings is always exploring the island with my sweet couples and getting those iconic Mackinac Island moments. Jenna and Ian love the Pink Pony so they wanted to stop there on our way back to their wedding reception and take tequila shots together (my kind of people!). We also visited the spot where they first got engaged on the island!
I’m so honored that I got to be a part of this sweet couple’s special day! Congratulations Jenna and Ian, here’s to many happy years!
