Chelsea & Kevin got married at St. Kenneth’s Church this month! These two are seriously the sweetest couple you’ll ever meet and they’ve been so amazing during everything that’s been going on in this crazy 2020. When all of the shutdowns started to happen, we had a video call about possible back up plans. They told me that their ceremony was the most important part of the day for them and that as long as they could still have their mass, they wanted to get married on the day they had originally planned. They did end up deciding to move forward with their Michigan July wedding but ended up holding just their wedding ceremony because of the virus. We’ll be celebrating the rest of their wedding on New Year’s Eve, and I can’t wait!
When they first booked with me, Chelsea also told me that because they were having Michigan July wedding and getting married on 7/11, that she wanted to stop for slushies with the whole bridal party. I knew that would make for some amazing and fun pictures. Make sure to look for the pictures of Chelsea and Kevin with their slushie in front of the 7/11 sign. So cute!
I also love the way their husband and wife portraits turned out, these two are so absolutely in love with each other, that it doesn’t take much to make magic happen. It was there in their engagement pictures that we took in Traverse City (You can check those out here: A Traverse City Sunrise Engagement Session) You can absolutely feel the love in the way that they smile at each other and light up when they’re lost in their own world together!
Congratulations again Chelsea and Kevin! May you always be as happy and in love as you are and were on your wedding day! ❤️
