There are only 2 reasons you’ll ever find me up before the sun…#1 is for travel (worth it if you’re heading someplace amazing!) and #2 is for my gorgeous clients ❤️ This was actually my first sunrise session ever (I am not a morning person lol) but when Chelsea asked me if I’d consider doing a Traverse City sunrise engagement session up at the Old Mission Lighthouse I figured it would be fun to try something new. And oh 😍 was it worth it! Check out that gorgeous sunrise!
I knew it was going to be breathtaking as I made the drive up Old Mission Peninsula towards the lighthouse. If you’re familiar with Old Mission Peninsula at all, you know that M-37 goes all the way up the Peninsula, straight to the lighthouse (this is one of my favorite drives here in Northern Michigan! It’s stunning no matter what time of year it is!). Honestly, the further up the peninsula you get, the better the views get. At some points, you can see Lake Michigan on both sides. As I made my way up that morning, I could see pinks, and purples, and oranges just starting to creep over the horizon and I knew this session was going to be amazing!
Not only are these two the actual cutest (I’m about 110% jealous of Chelsea’s gorgeous hair) but our Northern Michigan sunrise did not disappoint for this Traverse City sunrise engagement session! Check out the first couple pictures to confirm! ❤️
I absolutely can’t wait to shoot these cutie’s wedding next year! Congratulations, Chelsea & Kevin!
