I’ve been so excited for Tori and Austen’s Spring Castle Farms wedding since the first email that Tori sent me asking if I was available on their wedding date. One, because I’m always beyond excited to photograph or film a Castle Farms wedding since it’s where Zachary and I got married ourselves (This gorgeous Charlevoix wedding venue always has my heart because of that) and also because it’s a magical part of Northern Michigan. Two, because Tori and I hit it off instantly from the first time she emailed me! We’re both 3rd culture kids (I grew up in Central America and she grew up in England). We also both love The Great British Baking Show and just baking shows in general.

I knew going into their wedding day that it was going to be gorgeous, but I was still blown away by how absolutely breathtaking everything turned out. But beyond how gorgeous their day was, both Austen and Tori are so sweet. They both kept thanking my team and I for being a part of their day. I don’t think either of these two had an ounce of stress or worry about their day, they were both just so happy to be marrying the love of their life. I love seeing my couples enjoy their wedding day like this. Because that’s what it’s all about.

What can I say about Tori and Austen’s reception other than it was a blast! From their bridal party entrances to their choreographed special dances to their epic, surprise First Dance danced to the song “Despacito” (which if you know me, you know that I love!) their whole reception was amazing! Once the party dancing started, the crowd was pumping. At one point, I could literally feel the floor of their reception venue shaking while the crowd jumped and danced! Hats off to their amazing DJ – DJ Casey Rusch.

Tori and Austen ended their gorgeous wedding night with a sparkler exit! I absolutely love special exits from weddings and sparklers are my favorite! The images are always magical and there’s no better way to end your night than having everyone you love send you off into married life with cheers and happiness and a whole lot of love! ❤️
