Castle Farms Wedding | A Charlevoix Wedding Venue

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married in a Castle then a Castle Farms wedding might just be perfect for you! A gorgeous castle venue with stunning grounds, Castle Farms is a premier Northern Michigan wedding venue in Charlevoix, Michigan. Visiting here seriously feels like stepping back in time or crossing the ocean to visit an old European Castle. They even have their own dragon on the grounds!

I had actually never even heard of Castle Farms until after my husband, Zachary, and I got engaged in 2015. We got engaged in August and a few weeks later my MIL suggested that we go check out the Castle so we made an appointment. Zachary and I fell in love with the grounds right away. We both love history, especially medieval history, so getting married at this gorgeous venue sounded perfect to us.

Here are a couple shots from our First Look at our own Castle Farms wedding on August 26, 2016. Best day ever! ❤️

If you’re thinking about a Castle Farms Wedding:

If you’re thinking about having your wedding at the Castle there are many reasons I’d recommend them as a wedding venue. First of all, the whole venue is absolutely breathtaking. The actual castle is just stunning, the butterfly garden is a perfect spot for a first look (pictures below), their staff is amazing! (my wedding was so stress-free, they took care of everything), and there’s so many gorgeous picture locations at the venue. So you never have to leave! As a wedding photographer and videographer, one of the number one things that adds stress to a wedding day is multiple locations. The more locations you have, the more coordinating has to be done with your family, your wedding party and all of your vendors, so not having to deal with any of that alone makes Castle Farms worth it!

With Castle Farms, you get an amazing and experienced staff that knows exactly what they’re doing and does it oh-so-well! You get a day-of coordinator to manage things on the day of your wedding. This is so helpful! One thing that I tell all my brides, is that a day-of coordinator makes such a difference! You and your family should be able to enjoy your wedding without having to run the show and make sure everything happens smoothly. The day goes by so, so quickly. Coordinating everything yourself means more stress and less time to soak up one of the happiest days of your life. Now that I do weddings for a living, I appreciate the wonderful team at Castle Farms so much more and everything they did to make our day amazing and unforgettable ❤️.

This is one of my favorite shots from our wedding! I have it printed on a canvas in our living room.

If you’re already booked for your Castle Farms wedding and are looking for your vendors:

If you’re already booked for your Castle Farms wedding and are looking for your vendors, shoot me a message! I’m more than happy to recommend any of our vendors, we had some amazing ones.

Because we had such an amazing experience with our Castle Farms wedding, I knew as soon as Zachary and I decided to move to Traverse City in 2018 that I wanted to shoot weddings here. I’m so exciting going into 2019 because I already have several weddings booked for Castle Farms, and I’m so excited to work at our gorgeous venue and to get to capture and preserve wedding day memories for fellow Castle Farm couples.

Whether you’re looking for a Castle Farms photographer or a Castle Farms videographer, I’d be so honored to share in your wedding day and preserve it for you to remember for a lifetime. Check out the Galleries page of my website to view more of my photography work or the Films page to see my wedding films or head over to my Contact page to shoot me an email and see if I’m still available on your wedding date!
